I Hate Writing Articles - Isn't There An Easier Way?!
Owning, running and maintaining an internet based business or a site needs articles. Plain and simple, if you have an Internet presence, you will know this. Articles quench the thirst for information and knowledge. Plus, they provide many benefits for you, the website owner.
Quite simply a good article can get your site highly ranked in search results for a given keyword or keyword phrase that is relevant to your business. Articles provide "an attraction" to your website. Articles also help generate confidence and trust from your customers towards you and your site.
And good articles tend to get passed around and referred on meaning your message gets seen by a lot of people quickly. This leads to your site being recommended and a larger volume of traffic which translates to more sales.
So having established that articles are very important to your online business...what if you either don't like or are simply no good at writing?
Many website owners would rather spend their time doing something else - fact! And unless you’re a bigger company, you simply won't have the necessary resource to do your writing. Plagiarism or copying of other articles is not a goer and could easily get you into trouble with duplicate content or even worse a hefty fine or possibly even jail for serious cases - you don't want that.
So what are the other options?
Well, for starters if you hate writing articles and you can’t afford to hire people to write for you then don’t. Get free articles. The first place to look at for free articles is the public domain. Here you won’t have problems with copyright infringement or any penalties and fines as you are allowed to reproduce, use, cut or paste public domain works as you see fit
Public domain articles are articles freely given to the public for public use. You can do whatever you want with them. You can reproduce on your site, name it as yours, put it in a newsletter it's entirely up to you. do remember though to choose content that is very relevant to your site, obvious I know, but...
The downside to public domain articles is that since it is free for everybody, many of your competitors might have access to the same content. Since every site needs to be original and unique even though you're in the same niche, this could be a predicament. However, you will more than likely need to edit any public domain content to optimize for your keyword or keyword phrase, so that will help negate the duplicate content problem.

Another way to get great content is to allow other sites which has the same subject or topic as yours to submit articles to your site or to pick relevant articles up from the article directories.
I use a version of this on one of my Blogs. I have a special program (that Lee wrote) that trawls the article directories for useful Internet Marketing content and then publishes them on my Blog. Normally I would only use this method to augment my existing content but in this instance I personally vet all of the articles to make sure they are of the right quality for my readers. I guess it's a sort of service I provide to get the best and most useful information to my subscribers as quickly as possible.

You can also use PLR articles (Public Resale Rights). You can find them by the thousand with just a quick search on Google. You can get PLR articles on ANY subject under the sun.
Once you have purchased any PLR product (article, ebook, email series), you can do what you like with them. Change, amend, add, subtract and finally publish as your own under your name. Yes, you still need to address the duplicate content issue, but changing about 33-50% of the article will solve this issue.
To save you the time and trouble, the two I use are...
Gabor Olah's PLR Wholesaler (a tip for you...basic membership is FR*EE) and...
EBook Wholesaler from Tom Hua
They are the best.
But, to be honest, the biggest impact is made by an original article. There are many article writers who do part time and freelance article writing jobs and charge minimal fees. You can get good articles that are already keyword optimized for just a few dollars if you are prepared to look around.
The investment you make in original content is so worthwhile because you can use them whenever you want, wherever you want and they bring all the benefits back to you - and it is unique. You hold copyrights to them and you will be able to use them anyway you want. As you get used to writing it will cease to become a chore and you WILL start to enjoy not only the writing but also the huge increases in traffic and sales good articles bring to you. Good luck!
